Brave

      All People think that brave is the power to fight and to say anything whenever you want, but in my opinion I think brave is controlling yourself when you feel angry. For example, when I was a little boy I always fighting with anyone whom say anything bad to me, but my big brother told me that I have to ignore them and control my feeling. So they would respect me more  and that what really happened

My strategy

       My strategy in studying is starting with difficult homework because the difficult take most of my time and effort. After that I do the easier one.  In addition when I have new vocabulary, I write it in a big paper and past it in the wall of the room that I spend most of my time in it, so I can read it whenever I look at it.

The weather in Ohio

        The weather here in Ohio is very changeable. You can see all seasons in one week. Often when march coming, we say good bye to the cold wither. And we have saying in Saudi Arabia said that if the Whale (Pisces) comes the cold die.

American cultural

There are many things  that I like about American cultural  and there are things shocked me too. But the most thing I like that all people here respect the rules which make organize the community . Also the people here are very friendly and that make you  feel as you are in your home. 

Type of home

Most important thing in the house to be safe and I prefer to live in a large villa with my family and have the swimming pool, playgrounds for children

The most difficult English skill

The easiest abilities is specking. Because I always use it in my ordinary  live. Even if I don’t speak  very well, the people around me  can understand what I want to say . in the other hand, the difficult one is writing. Because my language is different from English and I can’t  easily  expires my idea on a papers.  I think to solve this problem  I have to read more and keep writing.

Spring break

     In the first day, my family  and  I will celebrate  my  daughter’s 5^th birthday .a after that we think about going to Niagara falls. Also I want to teach my waif how to drive. That’s all my plan.

About me

My name Is Khalid  Alshami, I am from Saudi Arabia  I born in Jeddah ,I have been here for one year. I came here with my family. I have three princesses, Shahad, Joud, and Layan. I worked  for eight years as front office manager at five star hotels .my dream is finish my ESL program and start my  master’s degree in hospitality program .

why I am taking ESL classes

I want to learn English for several reason, The most important one is that the English is  the language of the world .We can use  it to communicate with others everywhere we travel because it is international language, also, in my perspective ,if I have two languages I will have  more opportunities  to get a respectable job. So I am taking  ESL classes to improve my English.

The life is full of challenging. So I always believe that when I want to do something I have to be patient and optimistic. Even if I face some obstacles , I should not be disappointed. I must try again and again until I reach my purpose. Because I believe that every cloud has silver lining.
